Role Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our HR team at Securitas Healthcare. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including special projects, orientation enhancement, support with administrative recruitment functions and, helping to enhance employee engagement. You will work closely with our HR team to contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Special Projects: Assist in the execution of various HR initiatives and projects, such as I-9 review and updated, records retention and destruction, etc.
  • Orientation Enhancement: Contribute to the development and delivery of engaging and informative orientation programs for new hires.
  • Recruitment: Contribute to the recruitment process by assisting with administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and correspondence.
  • Employee Engagement: Participate in activities to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, such as employee events and recognition programs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle various administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and providing general HR support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Currently pursuing a 2-4yr. degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for learning and a desire to contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Regular and reliable attendance for the duration of the internship.
Duration and Compensation:
  • 12-week paid internship
  • Pay range: $16 to $20 per hour (35-40 hours a week)
