POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Full-Service Technician is to repair and maintain vending and fountain equipment, both in-house and on the street. Will also include fountain equipment installs at various customer locations.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
- Remove old parts and replace with new parts to keep track inventory current.
- Plan day's calls.
- Order any special parts not kept in the truck inventory.
- Drive to the location, evaluate the situation, and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, and carpentry).
- After each call, complete paperwork on handheld device, print reports, and end of every day.
- Perform in-house repairs.
- Fill out paperwork, including serial numbers and parts used.
- Turn in paperwork at the end of every day.
- Flexible to work nights and weekends.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D and two years vending mechanic experience; OR (2) five years vending mechanic experience.
- Basic electricity knowledge.
- Basic plumbing knowledge.
- Apprentice through Master Grade mechanic; work depends on skills.
- Must maintain a valid Driver's License.
- CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.
- Related training or certification.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
- Must have own tools.
- MS Office including Word and Excel.
