Description:
Are you a passionate and experienced Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager or Supervisor seeking a challenging and rewarding role?

If you're a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of food safety regulations and a commitment to quality, we're looking for you!

As our client's Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of their food products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership and Oversight: Leading and managing a team of quality assurance technicians to ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards.
• Quality Assurance: Implementing and maintaining effective quality control systems to monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to GMPs, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and USDA requirements.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential food safety risks to protect their consumers and brand.
• Continuous Improvement: Driving initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency within the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• 5+ years of food safety and quality assurance experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• USDA experience
• PCQI certification
• SQF Practitioner certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• HACCP certification
• Strong knowledge of food processing GMPs, sanitation, and statistical analysis
