You have completed a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Field Task Leader in Lynchburg, VA you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. This position includes managing internal and sub contract equipment readiness, testing, and field deployments from contract award through job closeout. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product specifications, and working closely with engineering and manufacture, to deliver winning products. Responsibilities typically include planning, scheduling and control of project activities to achieve project objectives.
  • Provides project leadership for major commercial design, construction, expansion, extension, renovation, supply or component replacement projects.
  • Reviews resource loading/training plans /internal-external schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
  • Utilizes approved task leading methods, processes, sand standards to execute projects of existing-innovative technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Provides primary interface between internal project team, sub-contractors, business unit and client.
  • Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
  • Coordinates multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizes team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance.
  • Defines and forecasts needed skills to meet project objectives.
  • Manages the on-site accountability for weekly time approval, dose tracking, and fatigue management.
  • Responsible for project execution, development of task planning, and equipment management to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
  • Monitors overall execution of project activities, identify project onsite risks, customer's expectations and compliance with customer's requirements for project execution.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of nuclear safety issues/requirements, and directs all work in accordance with approved standards, policies, procedures and quality plans
  • Supports development of new and unique test plans, methods & systems, and provides advanced, specialized consultation with customers to execute project.
  • Researches and assesses best practices, lessons learned, industry experience, proposing methods and improvements as needed.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $42.00- $54.33 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
