Location: REMOTE
Salary: $60,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the servicing of their hardware and navigation systems in the Gulf area!! This role will be 50% remote and 50% travel along the Gulf Coast - candidates must sit in these areas: Gulf Coast of TX, LA, MS, AL, or FL.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Carry out service and support for our equipment and customers.
  
• Prioritize and complete work tasks for the assigned service trip or project.
  
• Identify and report incidents, improvements, and needs to Service Manager.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Technical support on Dynamic Positioning Systems and various Navigation Systems.
  
  • General support activities and technical assistance including onsite and remote support.
  
  • Up to 50% travel for service trips to vessels, shipyard, and other customer sites.
  
  • Commissioning work on new builds and upgrades to existing installations.
  
  • Follow up with appropriate technical department after service jobs.
  
  • Maintain certifications through yearly online certification tests.
  
  • Able to operate in a remote environment.
  
  • Must have active driver's license.
  
  • At least 4+ years working as a field service engineer.
  
  • (Preferred) - 1 year working in the Maritime industry.
  
  • Be customer orientated and "service minded"
  
  • Cooperative with ability to work in teams
  
  • Flexible, responsible, and dependable
  
  • Willingness to travel.
  
  • Associates Degree in Technical Discipline.
  
  • Must be able to pass Fit for Duty
