SUMMARY:
The Facilities and Event Coordinator at Galvanize is a key player in managing our organization's facilities and
orchestrating events with a commitment to top-notch hospitality and detailed execution. This role is responsible for overseeing the operations of our facilities, ensuring they are maintained at the highest standards of functionality and
appearance. Additionally, the Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning and executing a range of events hosted by external clients. This position is part-time and will be based on-site at our Boulder, CO campus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
● Articulate the Galvanize mission and core offerings confidently, and effectively convert interested guests into
leads by directing them to the appropriate Galvanizer for further information about our programs.
● Address members needs promptly, including building maintenance requests, IT support, and onboarding
processes such as orientation, network configuration, and printer setup.
● Work with the Membership Manager to fulfill suite member needs and support suite turnover, including
furniture, IT, and A/V requests.
● Arrange event room setup and breakdown, including seating, staging, A/V equipment, and food/beverage
requirements.
● Move and install heavy equipment as needed, and professionally manage deliveries and direct vendors from
rental companies, caterers, and A/V providers as directed by the Sales Manager.
● Warmly welcome guests to Galvanize, act as a security checkpoint, register them using the Galvanize iPad
system, and direct them to the event location.
● Monitor and proactively address the needs of event organizers and guests throughout the event duration.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Evening and weekend availability as needed
● High School Diploma or equivalent
● Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs of heavy equipment

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Highly organized and detail oriented.
● Ability to think on your feet to creatively problem solve.
● Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
● High sense of awareness and personal responsibility.
● Comfort and ease in interacting with new people daily.
● Ability to clear required background check.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Previous experience in the startup space is a plus.
● Experience with Vendor and Facility management.
● Desire to occasionally take on stretch projects outside daily responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an

● This is an office-based position. The noise level in the office is usually moderate (computers, printers, light
foot traffic).

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

We anticipate the salary range to be $14.25-$29.56. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered,as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
