Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for an experienced, proactive and resourceful Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Chief Operations Officer and the Enterprise Business Operations division. The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support, managing schedules, planning and coordinating meetings and events, preparing reports and presentations, handling confidential information, and ensuring the smooth operation of the executive's office. This role requires excellent communication skills, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant serves as a key liaison between the executive and internal/external partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

This position is located in Meridian Idaho. #LI-Onsite

To be considered this position, you have the following:

Experience: Six years of administrative support to executive-level positions in a corporate environment

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Two years of work experience is equivalent to one year of college)

Individuals most successful in this position will have:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, general office procedures, and professional communication
  • Knowledge and experience working within the healthcare industry and/or supporting senior executive functions
  • Ability to cultivate rapport and productive working relationships with business partners throughout the organization
  • High level of accuracy and detail orientation in every task

In this role, we will ask you to:
  • Manage the executive's calendar, schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Ensure the executive is prepared for all engagements, including pulling together agendas, briefing documents, and any necessary follow-up.
  • Plan and coordinate division events and meetings, including logistics, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Develop final materials from initial drafts, which may involve the integration of information from multiple sources. Plan the layout of complex reports and presentations.
  • Answer mail and inquiries on your own initiative, following up with other departments to ensure that requests are carried out.
  • Answer telephone calls, handle inquiries, and/or transfer calls to the appropriate party.
  • Validate and process expense reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and practices.
  • Assist with various special projects and initiatives as assigned by the executive. Monitor progress on key projects and ensure timely follow-up and completion.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
