Sr Material Review Board Design / Liaison Engineer

Contract Position

Senior Material Review Board Design / Liaison Engineer job is available with Moseley Technical Services top Space company. In this job you will document non-conformance spacecraft structures, design repairs and perform stress analysis on repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Document non-conformance tags for spacecraft structures
  
• Analyze variations to part print specifications which effect part form, fit, and function
  
• Evaluate and provide a course of action regarding the ultimate disposition of the parts
  
• Evaluates areas of non-conformance regarding defects arising during the manufacturing process and as compared to the product definition requirements as defined by the drawings
  
• Perform design engineering analysis of discrepant machined parts manufactured in an aerospace manufacturing facility
• This analysis will include performing tolerance stacks, stress, metallurgical, aerodynamic, dynamic, NDT, and heat transfer analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
• 5+ years experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with new aircraft or spacecraft fabrication
• Previous experience with aircraft MRO
