JOB SUMMARY:
A Drawer Box Assembler builds, rails, fronts, and installs drawer boxes for cabinets.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Use air tools, hand tools, jigs, and other equipment to build drawer boxes, prepare
dummy fronts, and install rails and clips onto completed boxes
* Use glue to assemble drawer boxes and hot melt glue to attach rails to boxes
* Ensure quality specifications are met for all aspects of drawer box assembly
* Use a computer system to perform building and fronting of the drawer box
* Accurately interpret production labels
* Identify and install correct drawer boxes from staging racks into cabinets and correct
dummy fronts onto cabinets
* Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills and Abilities:


* Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, drawer front types and styles
* Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure

Required Education and Experience:


* High school diploma or G.E.D.

Required Physical Ability:


* Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
* Frequent bending, crouching, pulling and pushing
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 20lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
