This position will work in office 5 days a week.
The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations in Miami or Miami Lakes.
The Distribution Associate is responsible for assisting staff in a variety of tasks that help maintain proper workflow and meet urgent deadlines within the over-the-counter (OTC) department. Will work in a warehouse environment. Typically we haven't contact with members, as the primary job is to process and fulfill requested online orders.
How you will make a difference:
- Receive orders for over-the-counter (OTC) products.
- Printing online orders as needed.
- Collecting products based on orders, using bin locations and quantities.
- Assembling, labelling, and packaging orders for shipping or customer pickup.
- Receives inventory from supplier and verifies it with shipping manifests.
- Check products expiration date and lot number. Evaluates stock supply and order status.
- Prepares and verifies requests for additional stock items.
- Unpacks and distributes supplies in a timely manner ensuring proper location and rotation of stock.
- Fills and renews products in the corresponding containers.
- Can lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Manipulates a pallet jack and/or forklift.
- Process member complaints.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with a dedication to quality.
- Ability to manage their time effectively to complete all orders within a timeframe.
- Ability to work safely within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow existing company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment. Able to work well under stressful conditions.
- Makes outgoing calls to members and/or providers according to be necessary.
Minimum requirements: - Requires a college degree required in General Educations (GED), or a High School diploma with two years or relevant experience.
Preferred skills, qualifications and experiences:
- Essential knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including excel, word and outlook is preferred.
- Bilingualism is preferred.
