Overview

We're looking for a creative and energetic Director of Pool and Recreation to join our team as we transform Newport Beachside Hotel into The Sunny. In this role, you'll be the heart and soul of our pool deck and guest programs. You'll create exciting activities, unforgettable moments, and engaging experiences for our guest, creating surprise-and-delight moments that wow!

As we transition into The Sunny, you'll be part of an exciting new chapter, redefining guest experiences at our Sunny Isles Beach location. This is your chance to bring your creativity to life, inspire smiles, and create unforgettable memories for our guests.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Curate exciting recreational activities and events, including themed holiday celebrations and poolside entertainment.
• Surprise and delight guests with unique experiences that elevate their stay.
• Oversee the daily operations of the pool deck, ensuring it's a welcoming, fun, and safe environment.
• Lead and inspire the recreation team to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Marketing, to create memorable guest experiences.
• Monitor guest feedback to continuously improve experiences.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• A passionate, creative professional with experience in recreation and lifestyle programming, (luxury resort experience is a plus!).
• A leader with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Someone who thrives on creating magical moments for guests and has a flair for fun!
