The Director I Carelon Account Management is responsible for directing account management retention activities for Carelon within an assigned book of business.

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) and must live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point office locations.

How you will make an impact:

• Provides leadership and strategic direction to ensure book of business meets profitability standards.
  
• Develops strategies to achieve assigned retention and upsell goals.
  
• Provide input to product development teams to develop new products and deliver them to the market constituents.
  
• Collaborate with Functional Leads and matrix partners in support of meeting all performance guarantees.
  
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  
• Develops and motivates staff to achieve goals.
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 8 years of professional/leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  

Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:

• Strong experience in managed care and behavioral health is highly desirable.
  
• Proficient in executing superior leadership strategies and remarkable management techniques.
