RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their growing team in Jacksonville, FL. If you are skilled in data pipelines, warehousing, and big data processing, adept at designing secure infrastructures and have a track record of delivering successful data projects, this may be for you!REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) are a plus
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud); Azure preferred
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse)
- Proficient in SQL query language and SQL Server management
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with data pipeline and data warehouse automation tools (e.g., Wherescape)
- Knowledge of distributed systems and big data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Experience with Data Warehouse Automation & Data Vault 2.0 preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric/Synapse/OneLake preferred
- Experience understanding data requirements and performing data preparation and feature engineering tasks to support model training and evaluation preferred
- Experience with Informatica preferred
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Spark preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
