Job Summary
Vertiv is seeking a CPQ Analyst to help support and deliver project assignments related to our Oracle CPQ implementation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design best-in-class CPQ solutions to accommodate product configuration and business process requirements.
- Support highly integrated CPQ solutions either by extending existing functionality or building new solutions from the beginning.
- Collaborate with product offering, sales operations, engineers, and technical teams to manage and deliver CPQ project assignments and meet agreed upon deadlines.
- Responsible for writing and maintaining product configurator specifications (Items, BOMs, Configurator Rules, Pricing, Proposals, Submittals) according to department standards.
- Responsible for effective communication with development team to drive and execute results through clear, concise, and accurate specifications.
- Responsible for validation of product configuration and pricing to ensure accuracy and alignments with specifications.
- Act like owner of all project assignments, self-manage by working with cross functional stakeholders in a highly cross functional and challenging environment.
- Provide suggestions to ensure solutions are designed for optimal performance of CPQ.
- Own assigned support work tickets related to CPQ production issues.
Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience working in CPQ IT or Product Management or Sales IT.
- Experience in working with Oracle CPQ or other cloud based CPQ applications.
- Participated in successful CPQ implementation projects.
- Experience in developing, executing, validating test cases.
- Experience participating in end-to-end testing and validation by working with CPQ, ERP functional, and technical teams.
- Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, able to work independently.
- Ability to collaborate and develop effective working relationships with stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Possess positive qualities of ethics, trustworthiness, reliability, and personal organization.
- Ability to learn new applications/platforms to support the job function as needed.
- Proven ability as an analytical thinker and problem solver, effectively identifying business issues and opportunities, assessing proposed solutions, and meeting stakeholder needs.
- Experienced working in agile and waterfall development environment.
- Skilled in using contemporary project management and office productivity platforms to facilitate collaboration and communication among developers and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Oracle CPQ.
- Experience with CRM applications.
- Experience working with HVAC industrial manufacturing company.
- Good understanding of Thermal and/or Power products.
- Good understanding of PLM, Order management systems.
