We are partnered with an International Consultancy who specialize in providing Cost Management, Quantity Surveying / Estimating, Project Management and Advisory Services to a very diverse portfolio of clientele across various market sectors around the globe.

With their continued success and the focus on growing their market share here in the US, they are looking for a Cost Manager on a remote basis to support the Cost Management team across the East Region.

Your new role

The Cost Manager provides Estimating, Cost Management, and Consulting Services on a wide variety of projects (Focusing on Datacenter projects), providing excellent service delivery to meet client objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Detailed cost reporting
• Construction Estimating
• Contract development
• Development and management of change order processes
• Undertaking monthly progress updates
• Earned value reporting
• Estimate development
• Cost tracking and trend analysis
• Managing and coordinating the activities of other team members
• Implementation of project control procedures
• Interfacing closely with clients
• Invoice validation
• Supporting work breakdown structures
• Monthly accrual calculations
• Supporting internal audits

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will hold a BA / BS degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related Engineering Field, have a sound working knowledge and understanding of the built environment, construction techniques and excellent analytical skills. Having prior experience in a Cost Consultancy, or General Contractor and have a minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in Construction Cost Management. Also, having experience with data-center projects would be very advantageous.
