Job Description

Position Summary

The Travel and Expense Coordinator performs various duties to administer and support the Company's Travel and Expense reporting process and related expense reports.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Onboard and maintain employee expense report users within the Expense Reporting Systems
  • Perform company credit card and travel account management related to new account setups, employee changes, spend increase requests and terminations
  • Maintain strong understanding of the company's expense and reimbursement policies
  • Manage timely approval of employee expense reports
  • Ensure proper general ledger coding of expenses
  • Perform audit of expense receipts and reports
  • Prepare journal entries to record travel and expense for all domestic entities
  • Prepare monthly reports and analysis of travel and related expenses.
  • Provide various ad-hoc reports and work on special assignments as they arise
  • Assist with project tasks related to travel and expense

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Very detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Resourceful with a positive customer service skillset

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Minimum 0-3 years of related travel and expense experience
  • Experience with Credit Card Expense Reporting or Oracle ERP accounting system a strong plus

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • This is largely a sedentary role.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
