We are collaborating with a third-generation family-owned developer-builder based in Long Island, New York. This company has been a leader in construction, real estate development, and property management for over 100 years. They have established themselves as a leader in public sector construction and residential development in NYC. They are looking for an Estimator to join their team to support a recent mega project.

Your new role

You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, including ground-up developments, interior renovations, and large-scale mixed-use projects. You will ensure scheduling, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role also requires problem-solving, excellent communication and leadership, and proven experience working with project managers, management, and project support staff to deliver the company's commitment to clients in terms of progress, completion, and quality. Specifically, you will need experience in out-of-the-ground core and shell construction for large projects valued at $50M+.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience as an Estimator with at least 5+ years of experience in construction estimating. They are ideally looking for an Estimator who has a broad range of experience bringing projects out of the ground and working on core and shell construction. Proficiency in estimating software and tools is essential. Experience with large-scale projects ($50M+) is highly preferred.
