RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Roswell, GA that is seeking a permanent Cloud Analytics Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.Overview:The Cloud Analytics Infrastructure Engineer role is pivotal in helping the data & analytics and AI/ML teams adopt and optimize cloud infrastructure and platform services and manage analytics solutions, focusing on tasks like design, implementation, and automation of cloud management. This role is integral in advancing infrastructure-as-code (IaC), DevOps, and Agile methodologies, emphasizing a robust understanding of networking and security within the cloud. They work closely with cloud architects, software developers, and other specialists, and play a key role in multi-team infrastructure platforms. Their responsibilities also include addressing complex operational issues related to deployment, incident management, and service continuity. The Engineer will collaborate with IT teams to plan, design, implement, and manage cloud-based workloads, focusing on operational and problem-solving aspects.REQUIREMENTS:
- AWS Certifications
- Expertise engaging with infrastructure and application support teams with a strong background in cloud migration projects and securing cloud platforms in conjunction with security teams
- Experienced in DevOps/DevSecOps practices, Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, and proposing new standards based on feedback, and skilled in using DevOps tooling such as CI/CD platforms, and infrastructure-as-code technologies
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles including source control, versioning, and code reviews, especially in HIPAA-compliant environments
- Expertise implementing highly available systems across multiple availability zones and regions
- Proficient with AWS and familiar with Azure
- Knowledgeable in container management (Docker, Kubernetes), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and database technologies
- Experienced in identity management (Active Directory/Azure AD), cloud monitoring (AWS CloudWatch), and cloud networking concepts
- Strong in cloud security, including key management and encryption, and cloud spending analysis for resource optimization
- Demonstrates strong communication, collaboration, analytical skills, and a continuous learning mindset, with a focus on mentoring and knowledge sharing in cloud environments
- Essential traits for a cloud infrastructure engineer include strong attention to detail, customer focus, and curiosity
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
