Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hospital Medicine, is seeking part-time pediatric hospitalists at 10% effort for renewable terms of up to two years at Comer Children's Hospital to serve the children of the South Side of Chicago. Appointees will assist with open shifts in pediatric medicine, newborn care, complex care, ED consultation, and coverage at Comer and in a specialty pediatric hospital for extended acute care for children with chronic conditions. We welcome applicants dedicated to working as part of a dynamic and exceptional team of pediatric hospitalists. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is paid per clinic and does not include benefits.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program or be eligible or be certified in General Pediatrics.
