Business Strategy Planning Director HEDIS

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Must reside within 50 miles/1 hour commute of the posted Elevance Health locations.

The Business Strategy Planning Director HEDIS is responsible for business unit strategic planning and customer insight work aimed at HEDIS improvement. The incumbent will excel at executive-level presentations, devising tactics to enhance HEDIS and accelerate outcomes. Key responsibilities include driving health plan HEDIS improvements to support Stars, managing a large initiative portfolio, and developing robust presentations to build senior leaders' confidence.

How you will make an impact:

• Understands all aspects of the business and partners with executive leadership to define strategy and successful criteria for the future.
• Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprises strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.
• Related to strategic initiatives to improve HEDIS, leads quantification of costs and yield on outcomes across a portfolio of initiatives.
• Documents strategic priorities such as external environment and reports on customer insight research initiatives.
• Builds and leverages relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.
• Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment.
• Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business planning and project activities.
• Getting buy-in from stakeholders on investments.
• Creating KPI's for initiatives and tracking progress towards goal.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3 to 5 year strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:

• Master's degree preferred.
• Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
• Strong financial acumen
• Experience managing population health initiatives from inception to funding to implementation with the ability to outline strategic plans to manage through the process.
• Experience working with strategic investment portfolios for large, matrixed, multi-faceted organization.
• HEDIS background, with strong metric development and project management.
• Ability to partner and drive to outcomes, shepherding teams to deliver final product.
• Executive presence, ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders and Senior leader level presentation experience.
