Pieper Automation is expanding and is looking for its next Automation Service Engineer to help support the growth of our business in the South. We are seeking a customer service driven field technician to service and troubleshoot controls systems for various manufacturing and industrial facilities. If you have a service mindset, a knack for troubleshooting, and are looking to grow your career, we want to talk to you!

• Here's what you'll do:
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of automation equipment
• Upgrade system hardware & software (spec, design, configure, install, support)
• Configuration of control systems and devices
• Programming, typically PLC controls
• Perform system assessments/diagnostics
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Complete and execute JHAs to ensure safe working conditions for yourself and others
• Complete field service reports
• Manage and execute small projects
• Receive after-hours and weekend service calls and perform emergency service
• Work independently; begin each day with a plan to execute scheduled tasks and adapt quickly to changes
