The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of non-invasive cardiology. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidate should be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine as well as Cardiovascular Disease.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, medical residents, and cardiology fellows. Academic Clinicians must participate in a minimum of 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching or equivalent service.
Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient clinical care, non-invasive image interpretation including echocardiography and nuclear imaging and performing TEE procedures.
