The Teaching, Learning, & Community Engagement Department (TLCE) in the College of Education at Boise State University invites applications for the position of tenure-line faculty member, Curriculum and Instruction Educational Foundations. Position Overview
The Teaching, Learning, & Community Engagement Department (TLCE) in the College of Education at Boise State University is searching for a tenure-line faculty member who has a variety of expertise and experience in developing current and future educators at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This is an in-person position based in Boise, Idaho. We are especially interested in faculty with an established, or potential for, a scholarly agenda connected to socio-political foundations of education and increasing access and opportunities for diverse populations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree, from an accredited institution in educational foundations or related field
- Evidence of efforts to advance access and opportunity for students in P12 or postsecondary education
Preferred Qualifications - Evidence of experience with skilled postsecondary instruction in multiple formats (e.g.., online instruction) and teaching educational foundations content
- Experience teaching coursework on the undergraduate and/or graduate levels
- Evidence of teaching in P12 settings, rural settings, and with multilingual learners.
- Experience with bilingual/multilingual/rural communities and school partnerships
- Knowledge/experience tied to curriculum development, assessment, and/or instructional design
- Bilingual Spanish/English

Salary and Benefits Assistant: $72,009.60 - $73,340.80; Associate: $82,742.40 - $92,206.40 commensurate upon experience.
