In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager in the overall planning, directing and evaluating the activities of the unit staff. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager assumes total responsibility on a twenty-four hour basis. The Assistant Manager works with the Perioperative Director, Support Service Managers, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, and Information Associate, evaluating the flow of patient care in the perioperative areas, trouble-shooting areas of the unit which need improvement and implementing changes. The Assistant Manager works with the Perioperative Nurse Educator to coordinate staff orientation and education.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree obtained from and accredited school of nursing. License to practice professional nursing in the state of Ohio. Experience in an acute care setting required.
