Job Description:
Our client is hiring a highly skilled Application Programmer/Developer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is responsible for the planning and development of application systems to support our prestigious client's team and their end customer. The ideal candidate will be adept at reviewing and analyzing user functions and activities, evaluating available resources and current systems, and developing and testing appropriate programs or systems. Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze the organization's business needs, confer with users to evaluate requirements, discuss solutions, and develop plans of approach, including completion time estimates and UAT plans.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions from concept to deployment.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET languages, and work with technologies and languages such as C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and Azure.
• Perform analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of systems and procedures to solve complex business problems.
• Develop prototypes, user interfaces, and output formats to ensure ease of use, functionality, and accessibility.
• Coordinate with other developers to identify areas of improvement, then create the specifications for the solution.
• Prepare program documentation to support new or enhanced systems and applications and participate in structured walk-throughs and other activities to review systems and provide training and support.
• Study feasibility of proposed software applications or system modifications by identifying potential requirements and system restrictions to guide project development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Application Programmer/Developer, with a strong background in C#, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server, T-SQL, and .NET languages.
• Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or DevOps Pipelines, and Cloud Services.
• Knowledge of Web Services, Web API, XML, JSON, HIS, zOS Connect, AEM, and Entity Framework.
• Strong understanding of Management Information Systems including analysis and design, applications development, databases, processes, procedures, report writing, and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, scalable code and develop user-friendly interfaces and output formats.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to participate in all phases of SDLC.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a knack for working well in team environments.
• Ability to obtain user sign-off on all changes prior to moving to production.
• Commitment to ongoing maintenance and review of applications systems and programs.
