GHD is looking for an America Advisory Business Group Leader. This position will work from our offices in Irvine, CA.

The responsibilities of the position are:

• Provide strategic direction and focus to achieve the group's business plan objectives and alignment with Advisory and Enterprise strategy and GHD business objectives
• Enable effective collaboration and improved client value proposition through effective cooperation with core Enterprise and Digital business across the Americas
• Work closely with Project Managers and Project Directors to deliver superior client service and financial performance that meets GHD's expectations and manages GHD's risks
• Collaborate with Asset Management and S+R+ESG BGLs and colleagues throughout the Americas Business and wider enterprise to optimally plan and resource projects and pursuits
• Position will provide leadership to the Business Group
• Establish the pathway to a viable Asset Transformation business that generates future revenue within the next six months and raises awareness of the opportunities internally
• Facilitate a shared understanding of required future capability and capacity to deliver the services, identify gaps to current state and develop a high-level "plan to grow".
  Cultivate succession pipeline for the team's career growth.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field; and twenty (20) years of progressive related post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered, or in an Americas Advisory Business Group
• Lean Sigma Six certification.
  
  

Position also requires demonstrable experience with the following:

• Demonstrable leadership and relationship development experience, including having a track record of growing internal and external client relationships through high value responsive management consulting offerings, thereby building a 70% repeat business portfolio
• Demonstrable experience performing management consulting advisory services, business transformation, strategic communications, techno-economic modelling, investment analysis, multicriteria analysis, risk management consulting, cap-ex prioritization, op-ex optimization, transaction due diligence, lender's advisory, digital transformation, AI application and change management
• Demonstrable experience in management complaint with ISO 9001, proven by maintaining repeat business portfolio
• Demonstrable experience managing professional consultants, including creating career development strategies for staff with varying backgrounds and seniority
• Demonstrable project management experience in the following industries: Utilities, Public Works, Transport, Defense, Water, Environmental Management, and Energy
• Demonstrable experience with portfolio management, financial management including P&L responsibility, and HS&E
• Demonstrable experience integrating across organizational groups including core engineering/science/architects with digital, advisory, PMO across five markets (water, transportation, energy & resources, property & buildings, environment) as well as Federal sector.
• Domestic (U.S.) travel required up to 35% to meet with clients and staff through out North America. The position requires work in GHD's Irvine office

Salary Range $185,286 - $309,781 p/y
