The TDS AMER Operations role is responsible for delivering and ensuring the CW TDS operations across all global Infrastructure functions (office, branch, client ) as well as hosted (Data Center and Cloud) as a service and support operation to our business to ensure continued service excellence. We are looking for East and West coast located individuals to join our global team.
The role(s) have split responsibility across our Physical and Cloud Server infrastructure and data center footprints and our Branch network and global WAN.

The ideal candidate for these roles would be able to show recent and longstanding experience in owning a managed service at an operations level. Yes we are outsourced across multiple disciplines, yes this is managing the partners full time and holding ourselves and them accountable for service and quality all day, everyday. This is not a hands-on role but requires very strong technical knowledge to drive and strive for perfection across BAU and internally managed program of work.
Responsibilities
- Direct management of 3rd party partners and vendors and suppliers across that provide solutions and services to CW globally.
- Partnership with all Service Line leads within the business as required across Global TDS leadership and cross-functional leaders
- Ownership of the branch and data center infrastructure technology solutions and oversee implementation and execution which is delivered by our managed partner.
- Ensures adherence to Service Management Processes by the Global Service Delivery Team
- Work as part of a Global Team primarily representing the AMER footprint but partnering with our EMEA and Asia leads.
- Ability to align service delivery execution to a global roadmap and strategy across all lines of service.
- Act as the functional / Technical manager for all service management processes, being the escalation point for process owners and holding accountability for our core partner network (Services that are outsourced, major Incidents, etc)
- Develop continuous improvement plans for all infrastructure services and provide oversight for execution against agreed terms with vendors.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Demonstratable and recent experience working in and managing an outsourced partner environment and a clear ability to show technical experience with Infrastructure and network at a large corporate scale.
- Experience with key technical vendor streams such as: Cisco, VMWare, Palo Alto, Netbackup, Nasuni, Citrix, Silverpeak, Windows, F5.
- Strong practical working knowledge of deployed firewalls, WAN and LAN solutions, Wireless, Windows Servers, domains and Active Directory and general IT Operations.
- Experience with cloud related operations, preferably Azure, migrations and the ongoing BAU support.
- Configuring cloud infrastructure components like networking and security services.
- Understanding of managing consumption based billing.
- Degree qualified appropriate to the IT industry and role.
- ITIL qualified or strong exposure.
- Working knowledge of security standards including ISO27001.
- A core understanding of the SDLC and supporting Application frameworks

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $136,000.00 - $160,000.00
