Baer is looking for Agile Trainer / Coach for a 2-month Federal Remote Project.

Title: Agile Trainer Coach
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 2 months + Extension
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive training sessions on Agile basics, user stories, Product Owner, Scrum Master roles, and other targeted training as needed.
• Design and tailor training materials to meet the specific needs and learning styles of various audiences.
• Provide hands-on Agile coaching to teams, engaging with each team for 2 sprints to ensure effective implementation of Agile practices.
• Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile Coaches, offering guidance and support to enhance their skills.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development of Agile process guides and tools to standardize practices across the organization.
• Provide thought leadership and guidance on best practices in Agile transformation to executives and senior leaders.
• Engage with stakeholders to build support and alignment for Agile initiatives, addressing concerns and managing resistance to change.

Experience Required:

• Profound knowledge of various Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP (Extreme Programming).
• Ability to coach teams and individuals at all levels-from executives to development teams-on Agile principles and practices.
• Experience in mentoring roles like Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile Coaches.
• Skills in strategic planning for Agile transformations, including setting vision, objectives, and measurable outcomes.
• Proficiency in engaging stakeholders and building alliances to support the Agile transformation journey.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to guide teams and the organization through the transformation process with confidence and authority.
• Ability to identify, mediate, and resolve conflicts within teams and between stakeholders.
• Capability to adapt coaching and transformation strategies to meet the evolving needs of the organization and external factors.
• Proficiency in defining and using metrics to guide development processes and measure progress effectively.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to the audience's needs and learning styles.
• Holding relevant Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Agile Coach).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or significant professional experience.
• Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Agile Coach).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile coaching and training.
