POSITION SUMMARY
The Aftermarket Parts Business Manager is responsible for the overall management, development, and profitability of the aftermarket parts segment, focusing on e-commerce channels. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the aftermarket parts e-commerce website, managing pricing strategies, overseeing part numbers, and conducting detailed analysis to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aftermarket parts, e-commerce management, product management and data analysis, with a keen ability to drive growth and improve customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
E-commerce Management:
- Maintain and develop the aftermarket parts e-commerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for sales.
- Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to enhance website functionality and performance, including Website security, UX/UI improvements, and content management.
- Monitor website analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Pricing and Part Number Management: - Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Manage and update part numbers, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to make informed adjustments.
- Work with logistics team to identify and manage last-time buy and scarce parts to develop pricing strategies that align with market demand.
Business Analysis: - Conduct detailed analysis of the aftermarket parts business, including sales trends, customer behavior, and market demand.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements within the aftermarket parts segment.
Sales and Marketing Support: - Provide exceptional customer service sales support, addressing any issues related to aftermarket parts orders and inquiries.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and marketing strategies for aftermarket parts.
- Support sales teams with product knowledge, pricing information, and competitive analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
- MBA and prior consulting, strategic planning or product marketing preferred
- At least 3 years in technical product/services marketing, strategic planning, marketing, e-commerce, or directly related experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in business analysis and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and web analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Knowledge of the automotive, industrial, or related aftermarket parts industry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Very strong research and analytical skills.
- Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas.
