Summary

Primary responsibility is performing head teller duties and routine clerical duties to support departmental operation. These include accepting and verifying University deposits following established guidelines. Established guidelines are included in the attached Bursars office departmental guidelines document. Process mail Student Accounts receivable receipts per established guidelines. Performs various back-up duties involving student financial aid checks and electronic fund transfers. Performs other clerical duties vital to the Accounting Office, including logging detailed activity for Tulane's various operating bank accounts. Will also scan and review Merchant Card activity for suspicious activity, especially unrecognized credit scanning. Also, perform other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalency.* At least three years bookkeeping or accounting-related office experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in university environment helpful* Prior cash handling experience.
