Accountant II, Contract Invoicing and Medical LegalPsychiatry-Administration

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

Prepares, sends, and manages monthly and annual invoices for Department's significant portfolio of third-party contracts. Maintains master summary, files, and documentation of all outside contracts. Creates revenue summary reports by faculty and by contract on a regular and on-demand basis. Assist with Medical Legal accounts including reconciliations and collections. Assists with annual budget, monthly and year-end fiscal close.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, finance, or closely related field* Two years of professional experience in accounting, to include working as part of a collaborative financial team using Excel, Microsoft Word, and Intuit QuickBooks.

Preferred Qualifications

* 5+ years of professional accounting experience* Working knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to contracting
