SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the accurate preparation and reporting of all cost and other financial information. Other duties include: gathering and processing information to generate daily and weekly production cost reports; monthly reconciliation of balance sheet; assisting with internal audit checks; assisting in the preparation of the annual operations and Capital budgets; ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and Tyson s accounting policies; other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through a Bachelor s degree in an academic field directly related and essential to the job.

Experience: 1 plus years accounting experience; preferable cost accounting experience.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills; including Excel generating spreadsheets and Word processing skills and preparing complex graphic presentations; prefer broad SAP knowledge including purchasing materials management and product costing.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; support a good communication and team atmosphere among departments.

Special Skills: Must be highly organized and detailed-oriented with a track record for accurately handling of financial reporting in a deadline-oriented environment. Supervisory: None Travel: 2 to 3 trips per year.
